Portable Drops Diss Track After Boxing Loss to Okocha

Street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, released a diss track after his controversial disqualification in a celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha. The event, titled “Chaos in the Ring,” took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre within the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This rematch, dubbed “Unfinished Business,” was organized after Okocha claimed he was unfairly denied victory in their first encounter. The match became chaotic as both celebrities engaged in a prolonged wrestling-style exchange, leading to security personnel intervening.

Portable left the ring before the contest concluded, resulting in boos from the audience. Upon returning, he was disqualified, and Okocha was awarded the victory.

Following the fight, Portable quickly recorded a song addressing the officiating and the nature of the bout, which he felt had devolved into a street-style confrontation. This loss marked Portable's second in celebrity boxing, having previously lost to Carter Efe earlier in the year.

Despite these setbacks, Portable maintains that his music career remains unaffected.
