NIPOST Revenue Projected at N8.14 Billion by 2025

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) is expected to generate N8.14 billion in revenue by the end of 2025, following a period of decline in postal earnings. This marks an increase of N5.09 billion, or 166.81%, from the previous year's revenue of N3.05 billion.

NIPOST's revenue had fallen steadily from N5.50 billion in 2019 to N4.48 billion in 2020, representing an 18.5% decline, and continued to decrease to N3.97 billion in 2021 and N3.04 billion in 2022. A slight improvement was noted in 2023 with revenue rising to N3.48 billion, but it dropped again in 2024.

The projected revenue for 2025 is the highest since 2019, indicating a financial recovery for NIPOST. Mr.

Dolapo Adeyoriju, a financial tech expert, stated that this revenue growth will strengthen NIPOST's financial position, enabling investments in critical infrastructure and enhancing service delivery across Nigeria.
