Tinubu Promises Economic Recovery at Kaduna Campaign Launch

On October 24, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially launched his re-election campaign at the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally held at Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna. He promised Nigerians prosperity, economic recovery, and a better future, urging voters to grant him another four years to consolidate his administration’s policies.

Tinubu defended his economic reforms, which include the removal of the petrol subsidy and changes to the foreign exchange system, stating that these measures are essential for stabilizing public finances. He dismissed opposition criticisms regarding hunger and poverty, attributing these issues to previous administrations.

Tinubu reiterated several commitments made during his 2023 campaign, including tackling poverty, improving food security, creating jobs, and expanding electricity access. He emphasized the need for continuity in governance to sustain the direction of his administration.

The rally took place amid rising public concerns over living costs and economic pressures faced by households.
