NERC Advises Nigerians on Reporting Electricity Issues for Faster Resolution

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has urged Nigerians to report power supply issues through established complaint channels for quicker resolution. Consumers are advised to contact the Customer Complaint Unit (CCU) of their respective electricity distribution companies.
NERC also announced the availability of electricity meters for nationwide deployment. The Vice Chairman of NERC, Musiliu Oseni, emphasized the need for electricity distribution companies to promptly distribute meters to customers.
Additionally, NERC recently penalized nine distribution companies for failing to meet the required 20 hours of daily power supply, affecting companies like AEDC, EKEDC, and KEDC.
