Premier League Transfer Window Closes September 1

The Premier League summer transfer window is nearing its deadline, with clubs having until September 1 to finalize their signings for the 2026/27 season. The window opened on June 15 and will close at 11pm BST on September 1.

Significant transfers include Arsenal's acquisition of Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United. Chelsea has been particularly active, signing Jordan Henderson, Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck, and Lacroix.

Newcastle has added Czech goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek from Braga and midfielder Aladji Bamba from Monaco. Bournemouth strengthened their defense with Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla and Antonio Silva from Benfica, while Fulham signed Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid.

Leeds acquired England goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City, and Everton brought in Christian Norgaard from Arsenal. Crystal Palace signed Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Promoted teams like Hull City and Coventry City are also making moves, with Hull City signing Jens Hjerto-Dahl, Konstantinos Tzolakis, and Hidemasa Morita, and Coventry bringing in Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi and goalkeeper Carl Rushworth from Brighton. Ipswich completed deals for Sasa Lukic, Florentino Luis, Kjell Scherpen, and Japan forward Daizen Maeda, while Brentford made a club-record signing for Sangare.
