Chelsea Tops Premier League Spending in 2026 Transfer Window

Chelsea has emerged as the Premier League's top spender in the 2026 summer transfer window, committing £347 million ahead of the deadline. The club's major acquisition was Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, who joined for a club-record £117 million.

Additional signings included Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Emmanuel Emegha, Pep Chavarria, and Danny Welbeck, contributing to a net spend of £187 million, the highest in the league. Arsenal ranks second in net spend, having signed Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa, and Christos Tzolis, while converting Piero Hincapie's loan into a permanent deal.

Tottenham's spending reached £322 million, highlighted by the signings of Mateus Fernandes for £85 million and Sandro Tonali for a potential £100 million. Newly promoted Ipswich spent £165 million, with a net spend of £149 million.

Manchester United's net spend reached £100 million after signing Carlos Baleba, supported by sales of Rasmus Hojlund and Radek Vitek.
