Tinubu's Administration Defends Governance Amid Criticism

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, represented by spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, has reaffirmed its commitment to governance and reforms, dismissing Peter Obi's call for Tinubu's resignation as childish and politically motivated. Onanuga emphasized that Tinubu did not inherit a nation in perfect condition, citing long-standing security challenges.

He pointed to significant achievements in security operations, particularly in the North East and North West regions, where hundreds of abducted individuals have been rescued and terrorist threats neutralized. The administration has reportedly made strides in economic growth, with sustained GDP growth and increased oil production, contradicting Obi's claims that Nigeria is in its worst economic condition.

Onanuga stated that Tinubu's policies have led to record trade surpluses and foreign investment confidence, asserting that the government's efforts are focused on long-term economic stability and development.
