Nigerian Presidency Denies Existence of Fake Presidential Group

The Presidency of Nigeria, led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, issued a statement on Thursday distancing itself from claims regarding a purported presidential group associated with Adeniyi Adeyemi. The statement emphasized that the alleged organization, referred to as the "Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council," does not exist and has not been recognized by the federal government.

Gbajabiamila urged the public to be cautious of any claims suggesting that appointments have been made in relation to this non-existent group. He specifically advised foreign diplomats, financial institutions, and security agencies to disregard any communications from this alleged organization, reinforcing that the administration of President Bola Tinubu has made no such appointments.
