Tinubu Wins APC 2027 Presidential Ticket with 10.9M Votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket for the 2027 general elections, achieving a total of 10,999,162 votes. He overwhelmingly defeated his only challenger, Stanlei Osifo, in a nationwide direct primary election.

The results were officially announced on Sunday by Anyim Pius Anyim, who supervised the nationwide collation process. The total number of registered members for the APC was reported to be 12,643,306, with 11,069,756 voters accredited to participate in the primaries.

Tinubu's victory was marked by a significant sweep across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with valid votes cast in several states. The election process reflects the party's internal democratic practices as it prepares for the upcoming general elections.
