President Tinubu Seeks Senate Confirmation for Plateau State Minister Replacement

President Bola Tinubu has written to the Senate requesting confirmation for the appointment of Dr. Bernard Doro as Minister in Plateau State.

Dr. Doro is nominated to replace Yilwatda, who served as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development from October 2024 to July 2025 under the APC.

The appointment is subject to Senate confirmation, as per Tinubu's special adviser. This move follows the emergence of a new APC national chairman in July 2025.
