Tinubu Launches Water Supply Network in Karu, Abuja

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inaugurated the Karu satellite town water supply network in Abuja, reaffirming his administration's commitment to improving the living standards of Nigerians. The project includes the rehabilitation and expansion of roads in Karu, particularly at the interchange near the Custom Clinic junction, which aims to alleviate urban congestion and enhance local economies.

Vice President Kashim Shettima and FCT Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike highlighted the administration's focus on urban renewal and infrastructure development. The newly constructed roads are expected to significantly reduce daily travel times and eliminate traffic gridlock.

Additionally, modern solar-powered streetlights will be installed along the road network to improve safety and visibility, thereby reducing nighttime crime. The project is part of a broader agenda to transform infrastructure across the country, with a commitment to quality work and timely delivery by Nigerian contractors.
