Tinubu Launches Road Expansion Project in Abuja

On a recent date, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the rehabilitation and expansion of roads at the Karu interchange and Custom Clinic junction in Abuja. This initiative is part of the administration's commitment to uplift the living standards of Nigerians and resolve urban congestion.

Vice President Kashim Shettima accompanied Tinubu, who emphasized that the project is a clear testament to their promise to enhance the quality of life for citizens. The newly constructed roads are expected to significantly reduce daily travel time and eliminate traffic gridlock, fostering a conducive environment for business and community activities.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, led by Minister Nyesom Wike, is aggressively implementing an urban renewal master plan, which includes the installation of modern solar-powered streetlights to improve safety and visibility. The project is coordinated by Zulkiflu Abdulkadir and aims to enhance infrastructure in satellite towns, thereby improving the socio-economic conditions of residents.
