Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Rivers State

President Bola Tinubu emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Rivers State, garnering a total of 280,082 votes. The results were officially declared on Saturday by Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who acted as the state collator for the primary election.

The election saw no votes recorded for his closest rival, Stanley Osifo. Governor Fubara explained that the total of 280,082 valid votes cast during the exercise represented an authentic and accurate outcome of the primary across the state.

Following the declaration, the results were forwarded to the APC national headquarters in Abuja, in accordance with the party's procedures. This outcome clearly confirmed Tinubu as the winner of the presidential primary in Rivers State.
