Tinubu's Infrastructure Projects to Enhance Nigeria's Economy

President Bola Tinubu's administration is focused on infrastructure development to stimulate Nigeria's economy, as highlighted by the ongoing Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway project. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Sundai Dare, inspected the project alongside the Presidential Media Team in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The highway, a 258-kilometer corridor, is designed to improve access to previously isolated areas, thereby enhancing economic activities across the northern corridor. Dare emphasized the project's significance in addressing food security and facilitating year-round agricultural production.

The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Umar Tafida, praised the initiative as a legacy project first conceptualized during the administration of former President Shehu Shagari. The project is currently in phases 2A and 2B, with 40% and 16% completion rates respectively, and is expected to create substantial economic opportunities for farmers, traders, and tourists.

The state government is collaborating with security agencies to ensure the safety of workers at the construction sites.
