Tinubu's Administration Lauded for Northern Infrastructure Projects

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration has received commendation for its infrastructure initiatives in the northern region of Nigeria. During a media tour led by Ambassador Tund Rahman, it was highlighted that the Federal Government has embarked on 260 special intervention projects across various states in the North West, including Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara.

Key projects include the ongoing construction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway, which is 95% complete, and the Kaduna-Kano-Katsina-Maradi railway line, expected to enhance transportation and agricultural trade. The Kaduna Western Bypass, stalled for 22 years, is now 50% complete.

Additionally, the administration is focusing on solar energy projects and agricultural development, with a 27 billion naira irrigation project in Garko and a 10-hectare agricultural incubator at Bayero University Kano. The overall investment in ecological fund projects in the region is valued at 47 billion naira.
