Nigerian Movement Demands Release of Convicted Police Officer Despite Presidential Pardon

This demand comes after President Bola Tinubu granted a presidential pardon to 175 individuals, including late figures like Herbert Macaulay and Mamman Vatsa.

The movement argues that Kyari's continued prosecution despite the pardon is a grave injustice. The pardon has sparked controversy, especially regarding Maryam Sanda, who was convicted for killing her husband.
