Wadada Urges APC Unity for Nasarawa State Progress

Senator Ahmadu Aliyu Wadada, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Nasarawa State in the 2027 elections, made an appeal for unity among party members during a press briefing in Lafia. He formally accepted the party's mandate and urged fellow aspirants to support one another and work together to move Nasarawa State forward.

Wadada described his emergence as a profound privilege and victory for party members and citizens who believe in the prosperity, peace, and progress of the state. He praised the leadership of the APC for conducting a peaceful, transparent, and credible primary election, specifically commending the state chairman, Dr.

Aliyu Bello, and the electoral committee for their roles. Wadada also acknowledged the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Aliyu Sule in various sectors and expressed gratitude to fellow contestants, including Hassan Liman and Dr.

Fatima Abdullahi, for their sportsmanship during the contest. He stressed the importance of reconciliation and unity, stating, "no victor, no vanquished.".
