Primate Ayodele Warns Nigerians of Looming Economic Crisis

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning regarding Nigeria's economic future, predicting increased hardship and higher taxes for citizens. In a video shared on social media, Ayodele described the current economic situation as a ticking time bomb, suggesting that the hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians are likely to worsen in the coming months.

He emphasized that the government is expected to implement additional taxes, which will disproportionately affect low-income earners. Ayodele cautioned that without urgent measures, the economic situation could deteriorate further, particularly in 2027.

He urged President Bola Tinubu's administration to heed public concerns and reconsider policies that exacerbate the economic burden on citizens. Known for his predictions on various national issues, Ayodele called for the Federal Government to take steps to alleviate the financial pressure on households and businesses.
