APC's Yakubu Sani Urges Wike to Focus on Governance

Yakubu Sani, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and founder of the Arewa Mandate Alliance, called on Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, to prioritize governance and the welfare of workers instead of engaging in political attacks. In a statement, Sani urged Wike to concentrate on fulfilling the mandate given to him by President Bola Tinubu and to improve living conditions for residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He advised Wike to expand his focus beyond infrastructure projects like roads and bridges to include the welfare of teachers, healthcare workers, and civil servants, as well as addressing issues such as inadequate water supply and refuse disposal. Sani cautioned that Wike's confrontational political rhetoric could detract from the infrastructure projects being delivered under the Tinubu administration and encouraged him to let his work speak for itself rather than using commissioning ceremonies for political exchanges.
