NOVA Congratulates Matawalle, Targets 20M Votes for Tinubu

The Northern Vanguard for Asiwaju (NOVA) has congratulated Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, on his appointment as deputy director of Security and Intelligence I for the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. The group, represented by its president Danladi Haruna and secretary Adamu Jaco, described the nomination as a reflection of Matawalle's loyalty and strategic importance to the ruling party.

They emphasized that his extensive grassroots engagement in the North West geopolitical zone has cultivated a broad base of supporters for the APC. NOVA announced a target of 20 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, asserting that this goal is "realistic, achievable, and non-negotiable." The organization is mobilizing its network of coordinators across the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Additionally, NOVA called for unity among traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other northern progressive organizations to support Tinubu's re-election bid, urging peaceful mobilization and the rejection of violence and misinformation.
