Matawalle Appointed Deputy Director for APC 2027 Campaign

Dr. Bello Matawalle, the former Governor of Zamfara State and current Minister of State for Defence, has accepted his appointment as Deputy Director, Security and Intelligence I for the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. He announced his acceptance through an official statement, describing the role as a call to greater service and pledging full commitment to the campaign's objectives.

Matawalle has experience in campaign structures, having previously served as Zonal Coordinator for the North-West during the last presidential campaign. He founded the Tinubu Again Movement to promote the achievements of the Renewed Hope Administration.

In his statement, he expressed gratitude to the APC leadership for the trust placed in him and committed to working closely with the Director-General and other members of the campaign council. Matawalle's acceptance reflects his ongoing support for President Bola Tinubu's administration and his readiness to leverage his past experiences for the upcoming election.
