MPM Congratulates Zamfara Leaders on Tinubu Campaign Roles

The Matawalle Political Movement (MPM) issued a statement on Sunday in Gusau, congratulating five notable sons of Zamfara State for their appointments to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council. The statement, signed by Publicity Secretary Yusuf Idris Gusau, emphasized that these appointments enhance Zamfara's status in national politics and acknowledge the state's contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The MPM praised President Tinubu for appointing Sen. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar as the Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima 2027 Campaign Council, and Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Hon. Minister of State for Defence, as Deputy Director, Security and Intelligence I. Additionally, Governor Dauda Lawal was named a member of the Stakeholders Mobilisation Committee.

The former governors, Ahmad Sani Yerima and Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, were also included in the council. The MPM expressed appreciation for the inclusion of the former governors, indicating the president’s commitment to inclusivity and experience in the campaign.
