Rivers State Police Investigate Killing of Kamadioye Krama
Kamadioye Krama, a father of four, was killed by gunmen in the Emulation community of Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Rivers State. The incident occurred around 8pm on a Friday, as Krama attended a gathering for a coronation ceremony of community stakeholder Mr ThankGod.
His elder brother, Monday Krama, stated that Kamadioye had returned from the farm and went to have a haircut before heading to the town where youths were setting up canopies for the event. Monday clarified that the gathering was not political, as some had suggested, but simply a community event.
He called for justice and urged the police to investigate the killing. Blessing Agabe, spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Kamadioye's death and to apprehend those responsible.
An official complaint has been lodged at the Abua/Odual Police Division.
