Nigerians Celebrate IBB's 75th Birthday with Praise

On the occasion of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida's 75th birthday, prominent Nigerians expressed their admiration and offered prayers for his continued health and longevity. Among those who praised Babangida were General Abdulsalami Abubakar, who acknowledged him as a successful military leader contributing to the Nigerian Army and the nation.

Senator Mohammed Sani Musa prayed for Babangida's long life, emphasizing the value of his wisdom in guiding political and economic decisions in Nigeria and Niger State. Niger State Governor Alhaji Mohammed Umaru Bago, through his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, described Babangida as an elder statesman and exemplary leader, commending his bravery and charisma during his leadership, which contributed to stabilizing the country.

Islamic scholars also offered special prayers for Babangida at his residence, underscoring the respect and reverence he commands among his peers and the public.
