Trial of Ansaru Commanders Stalled in Abuja Court Due to Prosecutor's Absence

The trial of two Ansaru terror group suspects, Mahmud Usman and Abba Mukhtar, was delayed in an Abuja court due to the absence of the prosecutor, Moham Abubakar. The suspects, accused of leading terrorist activities in Nigeria, were arraigned on 32 counts of terrorism.

The presiding judge adjourned the case to November 19th after the prosecutor's explanation for his absence. The suspects are alleged to have financed, recruited fighters, and coordinated violent attacks across Nigeria.
