Peter Obi Challenges Claims of Misappropriating Funds

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, made a statement during an exclusive interview with Oseni Rufai on Tuesday, addressing allegations of financial mismanagement related to party donations during the 2023 general elections. He specifically challenged human rights activist Aisha Yesufu, who claimed he diverted donations made to the Labour Party.

Obi dismissed these allegations as baseless and questioned the existence of any account from which he allegedly took funds. He stated that if anyone could prove he took even 1% of the Labour Party's donations, he would withdraw from his political campaign.

Obi emphasized that he would compile a list of individuals making such allegations and include them in his challenge to substantiate their claims. He firmly stated that he did not take any money from the Labour Party's account and called for evidence to support the accusations against him.
