PRP Demands Tinubu's Resignation Over Insecurity Crisis

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has publicly demanded the resignation of President Bola Tinubu, citing his failure to ensure the safety of Nigerian citizens amid increasing insecurity across the country. This call follows a distressing incident on May 15, where armed men invaded three schools in the Ahoro, Esinl, and Yawota communities in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, abducting numerous students and teachers, which left families traumatized.

Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed, the national chairman of the PRP, criticized Tinubu's administration for the deteriorating security situation, stating that violent crime is rampant and that no Nigerian feels safe.

He accused the president of concentrating power without improving security and emphasized that the current leadership's incompetence cannot be tolerated. The PRP's statement reflects growing national outrage over recurring incidents of banditry and kidnapping, urging the federal government to implement stronger security measures.
