PRP's Hakeem Baba-Ahmed Vows to Unseat Tinubu in 2027

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the national chairman of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), declared during an interview on Channels Television's Sunday Politics that the PRP is committed to removing President Bola Tinubu from office in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Baba-Ahmed criticized the current administration, describing Tinubu's leadership as detrimental to Nigeria's future and expressing confidence in the possibility of defeating the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC).

He emphasized the need for unity among opposition parties to address the country's challenges, stating that many Nigerians are unhappy and insecure under the current regime. Baba-Ahmed called for a collective effort to pool resources and energy to focus on key issues that require change in governance, asserting that significant groundwork has already been laid for the PRP's campaign against Tinubu.
