PRP Chairman Baba-Ahmed Open to Alliances for 2027 Elections

Baba-Ahmed, the chairman of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), expressed the party's willingness to form alliances with other opposition parties to unseat the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. In an interview, Baba-Ahmed emphasized that the primary objective of the opposition is to remove the current administration from power.

He indicated that the PRP is considering collaboration with other parties once the political landscape becomes clearer. Baba-Ahmed also mentioned that the opposition is exploring every legal option available to win the next elections and insisted that the push for alliances is not about seeking office but rather about rescuing the country.
