PSC Transfers 50,000 New Police Constables for Training

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially handed over 50,000 newly recruited Police Constables to the Nigeria Police Force for training. The handover ceremony occurred at the PSC's Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.

Hon. Justice Paul Adamu Galumje (Rtd), the Commissioner representing the Judiciary, presided over the event on behalf of the Commission's Chairman.

He stated that the recruitment was conducted following the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and relevant statutory provisions. Justice Galumje expressed gratitude to the President for his support and presented a detailed list of successful recruits on a flash drive to the Nigeria Police Force.

DIG Isyaku Mohammed, responsible for Training and Development, received the recruits and praised the Commission for a transparent recruitment process. He assured that training would commence nationwide once the necessary funds are released.

Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad, representing the Ministry of Police Affairs, described the recruitment as credible and transparent.

Chief Onyemuche Nnamani, Secretary to the PSC, expressed satisfaction with the recruitment's success, attributing it to teamwork among stakeholders.
