PSC Transfers 50,000 Recruits to Nigeria Police for Training

The Police Service Commission (PSC) officially handed over 50,000 newly recruited Police Constables to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for training. The handover ceremony occurred at the PSC Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, as stated in a press release by Torty Kalu, the PSC Head of Protocol and Public Relations.

Justice Paul Galumje, JSC (retd.), Commissioner 1, presided over the event on behalf of the PSC Chairman, acknowledging the support of President Bola Tinubu and confirming that the exercise adhered to relevant statutes. The recruits' detailed list was provided to the police in a flash drive.

DIG Isyaku Mohammed, representing the Inspector-General of Police, praised the PSC for its transparent process and assured that training would commence nationwide once funding is available. Mr.

Ibrahim A. Muhammad from the Ministry of Police Affairs described the recruitment process as credible, while Chief Onyemuche Nnamani, the PSC Secretary, expressed satisfaction with the recruitment's outcome, attributing it to teamwork among stakeholders.
