PSC Appoints AIG Auwal Musa Mohammed as Academy Commandant

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has appointed AIG Auwal Musa Mohammed as the Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy located in Wudil, Kano State. This decision was announced by Torty Njoku Kalu, the Head of Protocol and Public Relations, in a statement on Wednesday.

AIG Auwal Musa Mohammed brings over 33 years of experience in operations, investigations, intelligence-led policing, and training. He holds a BSc in Political Science and an MSc in Public Policy from Bayero University and has previously served in various capacities, including Commandant of Police College Maiduguri and AIG for Zones 3 and 6.

Additionally, the PSC redeployed eight Commissioners of Police to different state commands following the promotion of former Commissioners. The redeployments include CP Afolabi Wilfred Olutokunbo to Abia State, CP Ayodeji Faniyan to Plateau State, CP Saka Adewale Ajao to Bayelsa State, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue to Cross River State, CP Nnanna Oji Ama to Anambra State, CP Patrick Daaor to Edo State, CP Tijani Murtala to Jigawa State, and CP Samuel Erale Etaifo to Delta State.
