PSG vs Lens Postponed for Champions League Clash with Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) match against RC Lens, initially set for April 11, has been postponed to facilitate their UEFA Champions League quarter-final encounter with Liverpool. The first leg of this crucial tie will occur on May 13, as approved by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP).

This change allows PSG to manage their schedule effectively, ensuring they are prepared for the Champions League showdown. The LFP has also adjusted the fixture for RC Strasbourg, which will now face Stade Brestois on May 29 instead of April 12.

The LFP's decision reflects the importance of strong European performances, as they influence the allocation of Champions League spots for French clubs. Currently, PSG leads Ligue 1, with Lens closely trailing in the title race.

The LFP has requested Lens to advance their home match against FC Nantes to May 9 to accommodate these changes.
