PSG Wins 14th French League Title with 2-0 Victory

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was crowned French champions for the 14th time after defeating RC Lens 2-0 at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night. This victory confirmed PSG's record and extended their lead to nine points over Lens with one game remaining in the season.

The match saw Khvicha Kvaratskhelia open the scoring in the 29th minute, capitalizing on a poor pass from Lens defender Malang Sarr. Ibrahim Mbaye sealed the victory with a goal deep into stoppage time, smashing home a pass from D.

PSG's manager, Luis Enrique, praised Lens's performance, acknowledging the difficulty of the match. This title marks PSG's third Ligue 1 title since Enrique's arrival in 2023, as they aim for a historic treble, having already won the French Super Cup and the French championship.

They will next face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final on May 30 in Budapest, while Lens prepares for the French Cup final against OGC Nice on May 22.
