PWA Advocates for Stakeholder Inclusion in Pipeline Contracts

The People’s Wellbeing Association (PWA) has announced its readiness to commence legal action in the High Court in Abuja to stop the renewal of pipeline surveillance contracts. PWA's head of legal unit, Comrad Aliyu Sadiq, stated that the association's campaign aims to split the contracts among Niger Delta stakeholders to ensure efficiency, transparency, and stability in the region.

Sadiq emphasized that the legal action is a last effort to preserve peace in the Niger Delta, which is threatened by a few individuals who seek to monopolize wealth and resources. The PWA insists that the inclusion of stakeholders from every state is crucial for monitoring and protecting petroleum assets.

Furthermore, the association expressed unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu and commended the leadership of NNPC Ltd GMD Engr Bayo Ojulari, describing them as transformative leaders whose achievements have elevated Nigeria's global standing.
