PZ Cussons Nigeria Declares ₦2.50 Final Dividend for FY2026
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has filed a corporate action notice announcing a proposed final dividend of ₦2.50 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each for the year ended 31st May 2026. The filing also discloses a scrip dividend option, key qualification and payment dates, and an AGM scheduled for 28th October 2026 in Abuja.
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has announced a proposed final dividend of ₦2.50 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each for its financial year ended 31st May 2026, subject to withholding tax deductions and shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting.
The qualification date is 9th October 2026, meaning only shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on that date will be eligible. The Register of Members will be closed from Monday, 12th October to Friday, 16th October 2026, inclusive.
Dividend payment is scheduled for 30th October 2026 and will be made electronically to qualifying shareholders who have completed e-dividend registration with First Registrars and Investor Services Limited.
In addition to the cash dividend, the board is recommending a scrip dividend option, allowing qualifying shareholders to elect to receive new ordinary shares in lieu of cash. Elections for this option must be made on or before 23rd October 2026. The reference share price for the scrip option will be calculated as a ten-day trading average of the company's share price on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, commencing 12th October 2026.
The AGM will be held at the Ballroom, Fraser Suites, Abuja, on 28th October 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
