Qatar Introduces Nine Visa-on-Arrival Types for Travelers

Qatar's government has officially published a comprehensive list of nine visa-on-arrival categories available to foreigners entering the country, as confirmed by the Ministry of Interior on their website. This initiative allows eligible travelers to obtain visas directly at the airport without prior application.

The nine distinct visa types include: a 90-day tourist visa, a 30-day tourist visa, a common tourist visa for nationals of 33 countries, a visa for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) residents and their companions, a visa for companions of GCC citizens, an on-arrival visa for truck drivers from GCC countries, a visa for newborn babies, a visa for seafarers, and a business visa subject to specific terms and conditions. The publication clarifies Qatar's entry policies, providing flexibility for standard tourists and catering to niche categories such as newborns and seafarers.
