Kwankwaso Predicts Northern Support for Tinubu's Leadership

Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has dismissed criticisms aimed at Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, asserting that the North will provide full support. In a statement made on Monday in Kano, Kwankwaso characterized the opposition's campaign against Tinubu as calculated propaganda that will not undermine the President's growing acceptance in the region.

He pointed out that the North has faced long-standing challenges, which the current administration has yet to fully address, particularly security issues in the North West during the tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari. Kwankwaso emphasized that the ongoing federal projects across the North, including rail and road infrastructure, demonstrate Tinubu's commitment to regional development, which he believes will translate into strong electoral support in the 2027 elections.
