Radio Nigeria to Host 2026 World Public Relations Forum

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), known as Radio Nigeria, has been designated as the official host radio broadcaster for the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF). This designation follows the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The WPRF is scheduled to occur in Abuja from November 15 to 21, 2026, and is expected to draw delegates from 126 countries, marking it as a significant international event for Nigeria. The agreement was formalized on a Friday at Radio House in Abuja, where Dr Mohammed Bulama, the Director-General of FRCN, expressed the Corporation's commitment to leveraging its extensive broadcasting network to ensure the event's success.

Bulama emphasized the strategic importance of the forum for Nigeria, highlighting the opportunity to showcase the country's identity and values to a global audience. He assured that FRCN would implement necessary measures to maximize the forum's impact before, during, and after the event.
