WPRF 2026 to Feature Global Icons in Abuja, Nigeria

The World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) is scheduled to occur in Abuja, Nigeria, from November 15 to 21, 2026. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will serve as the chief host of the event.

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema is confirmed to deliver the presidential keynote address. Other notable speakers include Mariya Gabriel, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information at UNESCO; Bashir Adewal Adeniyi, Chairman of the World Customs Organization Council from the Netherlands; Rochel Ford, Chief Executive Officer of the Page Society in New York, USA; Helio Fred Garcia, President of Logo Consult Group in New York, USA; Dougla Down, Founder of President Story Strategic Inc. in Calgary, Canada; and Jibuno, Director of External Affairs at the World Bank Group in Washington D.C.

Professor Justin Green described the caliber of speakers as evidence of growing international support for the forum, which will host its first event in West Africa. The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will collaborate with the African Public Relations Association (APRA) to ensure the success of the forum.
