NRC Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Warri-Itakpe Rail Line Theft

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) Police Command has apprehended two suspects, Mudansuru Mutari and Blori Kokori, for allegedly vandalizing the Warri-Itakpe rail line, causing a recent train derailment near Agbor, Delta State. The suspects, aged 27 and 39, were caught around kilometer 208 in Abraka.

The NRC is working with local security agencies to ensure the full restoration of the affected portion of the track and emphasizes a zero-tolerance policy towards vandalism to safeguard national infrastructure and public safety.
