Etsu Nupe Calls for Patience and Prayer During Ramadan

Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and chairman of the Niger Council of Traditional Rulers, called on Muslims in Nigeria to rededicate themselves to worship and remain steadfast in their faith during the holy month of Ramadan. This call was made during a Ramadan Tafsir held at the Etsu Usman Zaki Central Mosque in Bida on Thursday.

The Etsu Nupe emphasized the need for Muslims to guard their fast against actions that could diminish its spiritual value, stressing the importance of discipline and total submission to Allah throughout this sacred month. He highlighted the significance of patience in pursuing worldly aspirations and encouraged Nigerians to trust in God's timing.

The Etsu Nupe also offered prayers for peace and stability in Nigeria, asserting that peace is essential for the nation's development. He urged the faithful to express gratitude in all situations and to pray for forgiveness for their deceased parents, asking Allah to shower mercy upon them.
