Kwara NUJ Holds Joint Ramadan and Lent Breaking of Fast

The Kwara State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) held a joint breaking of fast for its correspondents’ chapel to promote unity and strengthen professional harmony among its members. The event was convened by the chapel's executive committee, led by Chairman Abiola Azeez, and aimed to bring journalists together in a spirit of reflection and candid discussion.

The gathering was particularly poignant due to the recent loss of respect for members, highlighted by the passing of former chairman Layiwola Olanrewaju and member Saka Laro seven months prior. This somber reminder of life's fragility urged attendees to reflect on their lives and the importance of unity.
