Emirs Host Interfaith Iftar to Promote Peace in Kaduna

During Ramadan, the emirs of Zazzau and Jama’a hosted an interfaith iftar aimed at fostering peace and coexistence between Muslims and Christians in Kaduna State. Hon.

Ado Dogo Audu, representing the Kaduna State Government, pledged continued support for programs that strengthen unity and peace among diverse religious and ethnic groups. The event, held at the palace of Emir Jama, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu II, was commended for promoting dialogue and mutual respect among different faiths.

Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara, the executive chairman of Jama’a Local Government Council, emphasized the significance of Ramadan and Lent as a period for prayer, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to God.

The iftar, marking the 10th day of Ramadan, brought together Islamic scholars and Christian clerics from various denominations to promote interfaith dialogue and unity among adherents of both faiths.
