Ranchers Bees part ways with Coach Usman Abd'Allah after poor NPFL start

Ranchers Bees has ended its working relationship with Technical Adviser Usman Abd'Allah through mutual consent, the club announced on October 18. The decision came just two days after the newly promoted NPFL side suffered a 3-1 loss to Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

Several members of the coaching staff departed alongside Abd'Allah, though the club did not specify which officials remained in their positions. Abd'Allah's tenure lasted 115 days, during which Ranchers Bees compiled a record of two victories, two draws, and five defeats across nine league matches.

The poor results left the Kaduna outfit sitting in 18th place in the NPFL standings. The team had entered a difficult stretch without a win in its last five outings before the coaching change took effect.

Abd'Allah brings experience from his previous roles managing top-flight sides, having held positions at both Enyimba and Kano Pillars. His exit makes Ranchers Bees the second NPFL club to change coaches during the 2026/27 campaign.

In its official statement, the club thanked Abd'Allah and departing staff members for their contributions and extended wishes for their future professional endeavors. The club's decision to restructure its technical department signals an attempt to reverse its early-season struggles.

Ranchers Bees will need to stabilize its defensive and attacking performance to climb away from the lower half of the league table. The club has not yet announced a replacement for the vacant technical adviser position.
