RATTAWU Honors DSS DG Oluwatosin Ajayi in Abuja

The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) honored Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), with the ‘Golden Era Pillar of Critical and Strategic Intelligence for National Development Award’ on Thursday at his office in Abuja. This recognition was part of RATTAWU's 50th anniversary celebrations.

Emeka Kalu, the National President of RATTAWU, praised Ajayi's appointment by President Bola Tinubu in 2024, describing it as a fitting choice. Kalu emphasized the significance of placing capable individuals in strategic national positions, particularly in light of Nigeria's complex security challenges.

He stated that the DSS plays a crucial role in safeguarding national interests and gathering intelligence. In response, Ajayi expressed gratitude for the honor, acknowledging it as a significant gesture that would motivate him and the DSS to fulfill their responsibilities to the nation.
