Titilayo Adewale Denies Criticism of RCCG Leadership

Pastor Titilayo Adewale, daughter of the late Pa Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), issued a statement on her Facebook page denying claims that she criticized the church's leadership for allegedly sidelining her father's legacy. She described the viral statement attributed to her as false, asserting that many senior pastors were aware of her father's founding role.

Adewale emphasized that her father sought no earthly recognition and valued individuals over physical structures. She noted that he was reluctant to own personal property and believed that his legacy was about building people rather than monuments.

Adewale argued that the reports were intended to create unnecessary controversy and division within the church. She expressed her support for the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A.

Adeboye, and prayed for wisdom and strength for him and the church's leadership, wishing the RCCG family a successful convention.
