RCCG Founder’s Daughter Denies Criticism of Adeboye

Mrs. Titilayo Akindayomi-Adewale, the daughter of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Akindayomi, issued a statement denying reports that she criticized the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, or accused senior pastors of neglecting her father's legacy. In her Facebook post, dated Monday, she described these claims as false and misleading, aimed at stirring controversy within the church.

Akindayomi-Adewale clarified that she never made any accusations against senior pastors regarding her father's recognition and did not call for campaigns to preserve his legacy through monuments. She stressed her commitment to promoting peace and unity within the church, asserting that her father's legacy was about spiritual transformation rather than material recognition.

Akindayomi-Adewale expressed concern over misinformation that could create division and distract from the church's spiritual mission, reiterating that her father valued building people over acquiring wealth or earthly possessions.
