Real Madrid Reappoints Jose Mourinho as Head Coach

Real Madrid has confirmed the reappointment of Jose Mourinho as head coach on a three-year deal, which will commence when the team returns for pre-season training on July 13. The club has compensated Benfica with €13 million to secure Mourinho's return, marking a significant move after a decade since his first tenure at the Bernabeu.

During his previous spell from 2010, Mourinho led Real Madrid to win the La Liga title, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup. His return follows the re-election of Florentino Perez as club president, who secured 65% of the votes.

Mourinho has also managed clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Roma, and Benfica in recent years. Notably, during his time at Benfica, he led the team to an unbeaten campaign in the Liga Portugal, although they finished third.
