APC Chair Yilwatda Promotes Unity in Kano State Visit

On Thursday, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited Senator Rufai Hanga, an ally of Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

The purpose of the visit was to promote peace and unity in Kano State, emphasizing the need for political leaders to work together despite their party affiliations. Yilwatda stated that cooperation among leaders is essential for the benefit of the people and that building bridges of understanding is crucial for Nigeria's progress.

The visit comes at a time when political relations appear strained, particularly following Senator Hanga's comments regarding the loss of a ticket by Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, which Kwankwaso allegedly considered for his son, Mustapha Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso.

Yilwatda's initiative aims to foster constructive dialogue and prioritize citizens' welfare above partisan interests.
